The Gerber Backcountry Essentials Kit Combo contains a collection of tools designed to help you survive any scenario in the backcountry. This kit contains the Gerber Gator Axe and Knife combo, the Gerber Gator Machete Jr and a Gerber Mini Paraframe Folding Knife. The Gerber Gator Axe and Knife Combo features Gerber’s famous Gator textured rubber grip for maximum control in either wet or dry conditions and a forged steel head for superior edge retention. Tucked away in the virtually unbreakable handle is a handy fixed blade knife. The knife has the same Gator textured surface on the handle and a 2-3/4″ stainless steel blade. The overall length of the axe is 8-3/4,” and it weighs just 19.2 oz with the knife locked into the handle. Includes nylon sheath with belt loop and Gerber’s Limited Lifetime Warranty.

The Gerber Gator Machete Jr. is perfect for those who need to clear brush but don’t want to pack around a full sized machete. This machete fits in a backpack making it perfect for hikers or hunters. The high-carbon blade slices easily through brush.

A smaller version of the popular Paraferame folder, the Mini Paraframe features the same skeletonized handle with a steel blade. The sturdy liner lock keeps the knife safely open, yet allows 1-handed closure. Includes a pocket clip.
